To assist the Bar Manager in the organization and supervision of service on the bar
To support the operation of the bar in a productive, efficient, and guest focused manner, enabling exceptional quality beverage service at all times.
To be fully familiar with every beverage and dish served in the Bar and Restaurant and to provide explanations as requested.
To treat our guests like Superstars!
DUTIES:
To follow our Cycle of Service at all times.
Maintain complete knowledge of the beverage menu and assist with providing new ideas / concepts.
Assist the bar manager during stock takes and maintain a tight stock control.
Always maintain bar par levels, assisting with ordering following the correct procedures.
Maintain a thorough understanding of current licensing laws and ensure that they are always adhered to.
Have a thorough understanding of the bar POS systems and utilize them correctly, assisting other bar team members as required.
Prepare beverages following recipes and in line with company standards.
To assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations, staying guest focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience.
To serve food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, but above all in a professional, courteous manner.
To be familiar with the composition of all menu items.
To ensure that the bar counter maintenance is always respected and that our guests are always at ease and comfortable when sat down at the bar.
To ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.
To redirect customer complaints to the Bar manager/General manager.
To ensure correct set up of the bar in line with laid-down procedures and par levels.
To clean the agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements.
To be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code.
To attend meetings and training courses as required.
To ensure customers identification is checked when applicable and confirm legal drinking age requirements are met.
To identify when a customer is intoxicated and follow UAE law by discontinuing service.
To report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay.
To take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes.
Carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management.
