Job Summary : We seek a passionate and experienced Head Barista with a strong background in specialty coffee to lead our coffee bar team. The Head Barista - will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, maintaining high standards of quality, providing outstanding customer service, and leading the training and development of our barista team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of specialty coffee, a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, and a commitment to providing a memorable coffee experience for our customers.

Qualification:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Senior barista, with a proven track record of expertise in specialty coffee preparation and training.
• Advanced coffee brewing skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and manual brewing methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong teaching and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of coffee origins, roast levels, brewing methods, flavor profiles, coffee equipment maintenance, and industry best practices.
• SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certifications or equivalent qualifications are strongly preferred.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Basic math and budgeting skills. Well versed with MS office
• Assist in managing coffee shop budget
• Only those who are currently in Abu Dhabi or wiling to relocate to Abu Dhabi are encouraged to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Experience:

• Head Barista: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certifications (Preferred)
