Duties and responsibilities of a head barista:
Supervision and Leadership:
• Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the coffee bar.
• Provide guidance and direction to baristas and other team members.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and beverage quality.
Training and Development:
• Train new baristas on beverage preparation techniques, recipes, and customer service standards.
• Conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure all staff are knowledgeable and skilled.
• Mentor and coach baristas to improve their skills and performance.
Quality Control:
• Ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
• Regularly taste coffee and espresso to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene.
Inventory Management:
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Place orders for replenishment and monitor stock levels.
• Minimize waste and control costs related to inventory.
Customer Service:
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
Menu Development:

• Introduce new drinks and specials to attract and retain customers.

Operational Efficiency:
