We BABA ROMA looking for Head Baker candidate for our Dubai office. if you are a culinary maestro with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? We're on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Head Baker to lead our culinary team at BABA ROMA Cafe. About Us: BABA ROMA is a casual dining cafe known for its exceptional variety of patisserie, pastry & bakery delights. Our menu also features a range of elegant comfort food options for a delightful dine-in experience, and extensive selection of convenient grab & go offerings. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding gastronomic experiences, and we are seeking a Head Baker who shares our commitment to excellence and ready to take the brand to a new height. Responsibilities:
- Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure that colleagues comply with HACCP guidelines Minimum 2 years working experience as baker in well-known international hotel brands.
- Extensive knowledge in breads
- Ensure the food cost of his Bakery is in line with budget kitchen operating supplies, and kitchen energy costs.
- Do not entertain unannounced visits from food or material suppliers.
- Observes sales floor and back stock conditions.
- Prepares and produces such bakery and specialty products as pastries, cakes, pies, muffins, breads, puddings, parfaits, frosting, cookies, rolls.
- Requisition supply items as needed from storerooms.
- Prepares and bakes all bakery items for menu and catered events following standardized recipes.
- Looks after the full bread and pastries production line.
- Estimates baking needs, requisitions adequate supplies, inventories supplies, and keeps records of products made and used.
- Coordinates in details on the restaurant / banquet / food production, and all specific duties to all employees
- 5 years bakery experience in a luxury hotel environment or high-quality restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP general health & safety in the workplace
- Previous experience as a Head baker or in a related role preferred.
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred.
- A Culinary degree from a recognized hospitality school preferred
- Head Baker: 4 years (Required)
- Hotel/Restuarant: 4 years (Required)
- Supervisory level: 2 years (Required)
