We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Baker to lead our baking team and produce an array of delicious pastries, bread, and other baked items. **Responsibilities:** - **Baking Expertise:** Prepare and bake a variety of items, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. - **Recipe Development:** Develop and refine recipes, introducing new and innovative baked goods to keep the menu exciting and appealing. - **Team Leadership:** Lead, train, and mentor the baking team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. - **Inventory Management:** Manage inventory, order ingredients, and maintain appropriate stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations. - **Quality Control:** Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards before they are served or sold. Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks. - **Operational Efficiency:** Oversee daily baking operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely production. - **Hygiene and Safety:** Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Implement and enforce food safety standards. - **Cost Management:** Manage ingredient costs by optimizing usage and minimizing waste.
