Job Summary: The Handyman Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a team of handymen to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair services. This role involves planning, organizing, and delegating tasks, as well as providing hands-on support to the team. The Handyman Supervisor is accountable for the quality and timeliness of work performed, ensuring that facilities and equipment are well-maintained. Key Responsibilities:Supervision and Leadership:Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of handymen. Provide guidance and training to team members. Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations. Task Coordination:Plan and schedule daily tasks for the handyman team. Assign responsibilities based on skillsets and workload. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. Quality Assurance:Ensure that maintenance and repair tasks meet established quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly. Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize future problems. Resource Management:Manage and optimize the use of resources, including materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Customer Service:Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their maintenance needs. Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication. Technical Expertise:Provide hands-on support as needed, especially for complex or specialized tasks. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Reporting and Documentation:Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status. Generate reports on team performance, work completed, and future plans. Provide regular updates to management on key metrics and achievements. Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in same filed as supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
