As a part of our Engineering Department, you will be part of the team responsible for the smooth running of all the machineries in the hotel and the hotel\'s building structural stability. Experienced technician who can manage and support the ongoing maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the building across mechanical and electrical services, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fixtures, fittings and equipment of the hotel. Communication and coordination with other departments is the key to do accomplish tasks successfully.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible in managing day-to-day maintenance requirements working with the Chief Engineer
Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of engineering equipment, basic diagnostic skills and general construction knowledge is an advantage.
General handyperson duties, including minor carpentry, plumbing and HVAC
Ensure exceptional service delivery when attending to guest requests for maintenance repairs. Good general presentation essential.
Establish and maintain positive customer and business relationships
Be a brand ambassador and reflect our core values
Other duties as required
Responding and attending to guest repair requests.
Communicating with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines.
Carrying equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Recording information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.

You will constantly be on the move, walking about and being hands-on. You might even need to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance. Qualifications
The successful candidate for us has:
At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in operations and / or pre-opening experience
Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Enjoy elevating the status quo and like to be creative!
Knowledge of Carpentry/Masonry is a plus!
