: Senior Hairdresser

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Hairdresser to lead our salon team and provide exceptional hair care services to our clients. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will bring your expertise, creativity, and leadership skills to elevate our salon's offerings, mentor junior staff members, and ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a comprehensive range of advanced hair care services, including precision cutting, styling, coloring, and specialized treatments, showcasing a high level of skill and artistry. Serve as a role model for junior hairdressers by demonstrating excellent techniques, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Lead and guide the salon team to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment. Mentor and train junior hairdressers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional growth. Collaborate with clients to assess their hair care needs, offer expert advice, and create personalized hair solutions that align with their preferences and lifestyle. Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products, and integrate them into your work to provide innovative services. Perform hair and scalp analysis, recommend appropriate treatments, and educate clients on maintaining healthy hair. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the salon's workstations, tools, and equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Actively participate in team meetings, contribute ideas for improving salon operations, and collaborate on special projects. Engage in upselling and cross-selling salon products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to business growth. Manage client appointments, maintain accurate records, and process transactions efficiently. Handle client concerns and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset. Demonstrate leadership by assisting in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience as a Hairdresser, with a robust portfolio showcasing advanced haircuts, styles, coloring, and treatments. Proven expertise in a wide range of hair care services and techniques. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. In-depth knowledge of hair care products, tools, and equipment. Creativity and artistic vision to create innovative and personalized hair designs. Ability to adapt to changing trends and styles in the beauty industry. State cosmetology or hairdressing license (where applicable). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry salon equipment and supplies. Manual dexterity to handle hair styling tools and products. Visual acuity for precise cutting and styling.
