Gypsumboard Installer And Plasterer
Job Description
• Installing gypsum boards and components in residential and commercial buildings to construct walls and ceilings
• Fitting gypsum boards around door frames, windows, and electrical outlets
• Measuring, cutting and fitting gypsum panels to walls and ceilings and finishing them with plaster or joint compound
• Measuring, marking, and cutting gypsum panels to fit in designated spaces using appropriate tools like T-squares, power saws, and utility knives
• Preparing and cleaning surfaces for installation, ensuring that they are free from dust or debris
• Transporting and handling gypsum boards carefully to prevent damage
• Taping over the joints between boards and applying joint compound using trowels
• Applying the necessary finishing to gypsum boards at the final stage
• Keeping the work area clean and organized, minimizing hazards
• Working closely with other tradesmen such as painters, electricians and plumbers, to coordinate the gypsum
• Installation around other infrastructures such as electrical and networking wiring, as well as plumbing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
