Job Description

The Gypsum Carpenter will be responsible for installing, fitting, and finishing gypsum boards and other drywall materials in commercial or residential construction projects. The role requires expertise in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall, as well as ensuring that the finished work meets quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup:

Install gypsum boards, plasterboard, or drywall sheets onto the framework or existing structures. Measure and cut gypsum boards according to specifications and project requirements. Ensure proper alignment and spacing for drywall and gypsum board installation.

Finishing & Sealing:

Apply joint tape and compound to seams between gypsum boards, ensuring smooth and even finishes. Sand and smooth surfaces after applying compounds to create a polished, finished look. Install corner beads and other finishing trims as required.

Reading and Interpreting Plans:

Study blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine material needs and work processes. Interpret building plans and adjust gypsum installation techniques accordingly.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
