Job Description

Gypsum carpenters, specialized in working with gypsum-based materials to construct walls, ceilings, and other architectural features.

• Installation of Drywall : Responsible for installing gypsum boards (drywall) on walls and ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This involves measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall panels to size.
• Taping and Finishing : After installing drywall, apply joint tape & compound to achieve smooth, seamless surfaces ready for painting or other finishes.
• Repairs and Modifications : Repair damaged drywall or make modifications to existing structures.
• Understanding Building Plans : Must be able to interpret construction blueprints and follow building codes and specifications to ensure installations meet structural and safety requirements.
• Use of Tools and Equipment : Proficiency with a variety of hand tools & power tools is essential. They must also be familiar with safety protocols when working with tools and equipment.
• Teamwork : Depending on the size of the project, work independently or as part of a team.

Experience of 2/3 years mandatory. UAE experienced workers will be preferred.
