Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with gypsum board installations and will be responsible for creating and installing interior structures, including walls, ceilings, and decorative elements. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install gypsum board for walls and ceilings.
• Frame and finish drywall to create smooth, even surfaces.
• Install insulation, soundproofing materials, and other components as needed.
• Repair and patch existing drywall and gypsum structures.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project completion.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for project execution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, specifically with gypsum board installation.
• Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to gypsum installation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and strength.
