Job Description

Customer Engagement & Prospecting



Outreach

: Reaching out to potential leads, whether through cold calling, emails, social media, or face-to-face interactions.

Building Relationships

: Engaging with new members to understand their fitness goals and needs, and offering tailored solutions.

Lead Generation

: Networking and attending local events to build a client base.

Referrals

: Encouraging existing members to refer friends, family, and colleagues.

Sales Presentation



Facility Tours

: Giving potential members a tour of the gym, explaining the features and benefits of the gym's offerings (such as equipment, classes, and amenities).

Membership Plans

: Explaining various membership options, including pricing, contract lengths, and any promotional offers.

Handling Objections

: Addressing concerns and objections (e.g., pricing, commitment) and finding ways to overcome them.

Closing Sales



Conversion

: Converting interested prospects into paying members, ensuring all paperwork and payments are handled correctly.

Incentives

: Offering special promotions or discounts to close deals.

Sign-ups

: Encouraging clients to sign up for trials, introductory offers, or full memberships.

Customer Service & Retention



Onboarding

: Assisting new members with their initial experience, answering questions, and ensuring they feel welcome.

Follow-up

: Checking in with new members to ensure satisfaction and encourage continued use of the gym.

Retention

: Finding opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services like personal training or group classes.

Administrative Duties



Sales Reporting

: Tracking sales, membership renewals, and customer feedback.

CRM Management

: Using customer relationship management software to keep track of leads and members.

Processing Transactions

: Handling payments, memberships, and paperwork in compliance with company procedures.
Skills Required:

Sales Skills

: Ability to sell, negotiate, and close deals.

Communication

: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with prospects.

Customer Service

: Providing excellent service to ensure member satisfaction and retention.

Goal-Oriented

: Working to meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.

Knowledge of Fitness Industry

: Understanding of fitness trends and gym offerings to better cater to potential members.
Qualities of a Successful Gym Membership Sales Consultant:

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
