Job Title: Guest Service Agent Reports To: Front Office Manager Location: DUBAI Job Summary: The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. This role includes handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs. Key Responsibilities:Guest Relations:
  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Reservations and Registration:
  • Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Verify guest information, issue room keys, and process payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, ensuring confidentiality.
Customer Service:
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Offer solutions and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as transportation, dining reservations, and entertainment tickets.
Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
  • Update the front office management team on guest feedback and service recovery efforts.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Prepare daily reports and logs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift luggage and other items up to 30 pounds as needed.
Working Conditions:
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests.
