• Guest Check-In/Check-Out :
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring accurate registration and room assignment.
• Process guest check-out, verifying account information and processing payments.
• Customer Service :
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, both in person and over the phone.
• Resolve guest complaints or issues efficiently, escalating to the supervisor if necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Room Reservations and Sales :
• Manage room reservations and upsell services and amenities to enhance guest experience and maximize hotel revenue.
• Assist with inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and hotel facilities.
• Information and Assistance :
• Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, dining options, and other amenities.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to fulfill guest requests or resolve room issues.
• Administrative Duties :
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, charges, and reservations.
• Prepare reports as required by management and assist with the daily shift reports.
• Safety and Security :
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring guest privacy and security.
• Monitor and control access to guest floors and handle any unusual situations with discretion.
Qualifications :
• Education : High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
• Experience :
• Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Previous experience with a property management system (PMS) like Opera is preferred.
