Job Description

1. Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to TIG weld in all positions including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding.

2. Inspects, maintains and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating.

3. Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG weld) material to meet fabrication drawing requirements.

4. Drawing review and compliance for final dimensions, weld note callouts, base material and filler material selection.

5.Solvent cleaning, trimming, sizing and polishing to prepare weld joints for welding

6. Tack welding, fabrication of shop aids and fixtures to assist fabrication and welding

7. Perform welding as per the given WPS

8. All position full GTAW welding for all stainless steel welding grades

-SS304, SS316/316L, SS2205, SS2207 etc..

-SA105, SA106 etc..

9. Experience in piping/spool fabrication is mandatory

- water treatment system manufacturing experience will be preferred

-Knowledge in codes and standards

-ASME SECVIII Div 1, AWS D1.1 knowledge is mandatory

-All weld joints efficiency must be qualify RT test

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
