We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Growth Manager to lead the scaling of our cross-border shipping service, Self Ship. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in growth strategy, product management, and a passion for disrupting traditional logistics models. The ideal candidate will have experience in the eCommerce, logistics, or technology sectors, bringing a mix of creative problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and operational expertise.
About the Role:
You will own the development and execution of innovative growth strategies, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and expansion of Self Ship into new markets. We will give preference to candidates with ecommerce background.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Self Ship.
• Explore and execute innovative business models like dynamic pricing, subscription models, and usage-based pricing.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
• Lead the design and launch of innovative product features like AI-powered shipping assistance, transparent pricing tools, and customer-first logistics solutions.
• Identify pain points in the customer journey and develop solutions to improve user experience and retention.
• Strategically expand Self Ship into new markets with a focus on niche customer segments like expatriates, frequent international shoppers, and small businesses.
• Identify partnerships with retailers and logistics providers to enhance Self Ship's reach and value proposition.
• Own performance marketing and advertising strategies using channels like Google and Meta Ads to attract and convert competitor customers.
• Develop loyalty programs, referral systems, and subscription offerings that drive repeat usage and long-term customer retention.
• Track, analyze, and optimize key growth metrics, continuously iterating on campaigns, product features, and strategies based on data insights.
• Use A/B testing and experimentation to validate and scale successful initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure growth plans are aligned with company goals.
• Manage external agencies or freelancers as needed to execute growth initiatives efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in a growth or product management role, ideally within eCommerce, logistics, or technology industries.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies that have resulted in measurable business growth.
• Experience in scaling digital products or platforms, particularly in a disruptive, fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads), customer segmentation, and data analytics.
• Familiarity with logistics, international shipping, and cross-border commerce is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
