The GM will be responsible for overseeing the analytics and reporting functions related to Al-Futtaim's sustainability initiatives. Their expertise will drive strategic decision-making processes by providing insightful analysis and comprehensive reporting on sustainability performance metrics.What you will doReporting & Analytics
Set up the Sustainability cockpit for consolidated ESG data management across our divisions and geographies
Develop consolidated reporting in line with developments of the standards and regulatory frameworks in our markets (including IFRS, ISSB, GRI, TCFD)
Deliver external reporting to the highest quality standards as required
Conduct business case assessments on climate-related risks and opportunities at group level and together with divisions
Select and implement relevant data platforms to support data collection across our divisions
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage and build the case for sustainability action with the Senior Leaders of the organization, at Group level and in the divisions
Provide strategic support for Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Committee meetings, Group requests/meetings, and Investment Committee as needed
Ensure alignment across divisions and identify opportunities for collaborations and ways to address trade-offs
Align with Group Finance function to ensure Sustainability initiatives are adequately assessed and measured
Monitor regulatory developments on NetZero and climate action across the markets in which we operate

Required skills to be successful
Experience in Sustainability reporting and data analysis
Excellent knowledge of globally recognized standards and regulatory frameworks, including IFRS, ISSB, GRI, TCFD, etc.
Experience in one or more of our core industry verticals (Automotive, Real Estate, Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare)
Experience building traction with diverse groups of stakeholders by leveraging facts and figures
Passion for data and Advanced Analytics applied to Sustainability
What equips you for the role
Master's degree or professional certification in Sustainability, Data Analytics, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Previous experience in sustainability analytics and reporting
Experience managing cross-functional teams
