The Group Finance Manager will play a strategic and hands-on role in managing the financial operations of our automotive business. This position involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, and compliance across all divisions of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance within the automotive industry and bring expertise in managing multiple subsidiary accounts, providing critical insights to support decision-making, and ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the group.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and financial modeling to assess performance and profitability.
• Generate insights and reports on financial metrics, cost management, and performance to support business decisions.
• Group Consolidation and Reporting
• Consolidate financial statements for all group entities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment and integration of financial data across all group entities to streamline reporting processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Develop and manage budgets for each entity within the automotive group.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements and manage capital expenditure plans.
• Provide recommendations for budget adjustments based on performance trends and strategic objectives.
• Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial standards specific to the automotive industry.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement controls, and ensure internal compliance.
• Work closely with external auditors and manage audits and financial reviews across the group.
• Cost and Inventory Management
• Develop and implement cost-control measures across all automotive divisions.
• Oversee inventory management and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
• Analyze production and operational costs to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Team Leadership and Development
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure best practices in financial management across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to drive financial performance and strategic goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
• Participate in business development initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; a CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the automotive industry.
