Our client is recruiting a seasoned Group Finance Director to spearhead and manage the financial operations of the company. The incumbent will focus on crafting financial strategy, planning, and management across our varied portfolio which includes investments in farming (agriculture, aquaculture), animal health, and e-commerce. The Group Finance Director will lead the finance department, collaborate with senior management, and promote financial excellence to facilitate strategic decision-making.
The Role Financial Strategy and Planning:
Formulate and execute financial strategies in line with the company\'s overarching goals.
Provide strategic financial insight and leadership on key organizational decisions.
Financial Management:
Monitor the financial standing of the company and its subsidiaries.
Guarantee prompt and precise financial reporting to executives and the board.
Administer financial risks and establish robust control mechanisms.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Direct the annual budget process and intermittent forecasts.
Partner with business divisions to define financial targets and KPIs.
Investment Analysis:
Assess potential investment opportunities within farming, animal health, and e-commerce.
Perform financial due diligence and risk analysis on potential investments.
Stakeholder Relations:
Work with both internal and external stakeholders, such as investors and financial entities.
Act as the company\'s financial representative, focusing on strong relationship cultivation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Maintain a robust financial status for the company and its subsidiaries.
Enhance investment returns within the specified sectors.
Keep budget discrepancies to a minimum via effective financial governance.
Uphold compliance with all pertinent financial legislation and reporting norms.

Requirements
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
MBA or advanced finance-related accreditation is highly valued.
CPA, CFA, or similar certification is preferred.
5 years as a Finance Director or equivalent senior executive role.
Comprehensive experience in financial leadership within agriculture, aquaculture industries
