Main duties and responsibilities
Drive annual revenue target for the Wellness operations of the Group, taking into consideration strategic objectives and market trends at global, regional, and local level.
Update on market trends and practices while monitoring and analysing the offerings, pricing, and quality standards of the competition. Direct the introduction of products and services that will enhance the competitive advantage of the Business Units and support the achievement of sales.
Work closely with the Business Units and General Managers for the analysis of their requirements, local cultural characteristics and market requirement and ensure the introduction of wellness solutions that will improve the guest satisfaction, promote the brand image, and comply with the standards and guidelines of the Group.
Introduce and implement annual wellness campaigns in collaboration with Group Sales & Marketing.
Drive the operational performance standards for Localization Quality Assurance/Forbes/ Medallia.
Evaluate and oversee the Group and key individual properties Key Performance Indicators.
Review monthly group and evaluate performance with Corporate Finance business partner.
Prepare the department budget and monitor the financial performance of Wellness operations versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
Liaise with all Wellness/Spa Directors and Managers to consolidate quarterly wellness contents for brand social media.
Guide the operating equipment selection throughout the guest journey from arrival to departure, including Arrival, Fitness, Relax, Hair/Nails, treatment suites, overnight lodges & retail.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned University.
More than 5 years experience managing spa operations team, including corporate level, hotel, and pre-opening experience.
Experience in developing corporate curriculum of measurable culture building initiatives and create management and associate development training programs incorporating training best practices.
