Position:Group Director of Operations - High-end standalone Restaurants and Nightlife Venues GroupCompany Overview:Companium Hospitality, on behalf of their client, recruit a Group Director of Operations - Restaurants and Nightlife VenuesOur client is a leading hospitality company that owns and operates a portfolio of restaurants and nightlife venues across the Middle East: Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar) and develops in other countries, such as Oman, Saudi etc.Their mission is to provide exceptional dining and entertainment experiences for our guests while maintaining a strong focus on quality, innovation, and customer service.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Director of Operations to oversee our restaurants and nightlife venues. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of our portfolio, ensuring that each venue meets and exceeds financial and operational goalsKey Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability across all restaurants and nightlife venues
Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, budgeting, and forecasting
Lead and mentor a team of General Managers and other key personnel to ensure consistent and exceptional operations at each location
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing
Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and efficiency
Monitor industry trends and competition to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities for growth
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive business and increase brand awareness
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws regarding food and beverage operations
Conduct regular site visits to ensure all venues are meeting company standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the performance of the portfolio, including financials, operational metrics, and key initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on restaurants and nightlife venues
Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability in a multi-unit operation
Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong understanding of industry trends and competition, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth
Ability to travel regularly to various locations within the portfolio
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
