Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO), Holding CompanyLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEFluency in English and RussianWe are seeking for a Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and governance of a diversified holding company operating across the Middle East, Asia and the CIS. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Group CFO will be responsible for overseeing multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ensuring financial stability, optimizing capital allocation, and driving long-term value creation.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the groups financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and risk mitigation across multiple business units and regions.
Multi-Jurisdictional Oversight: Lead and streamline financial operations across several countries, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, tax optimization, and operational efficiency.
Capital Management & Investment Strategy: Oversee capital allocation, liquidity planning, and financial structuring, ensuring optimal resource utilization and financial sustainability.
Financial Performance & Risk Management: Implement advanced financial analytics, forecasting models, and risk management frameworks to enhance decision-making at the group level.
Board Engagement: Act as a key advisor to the shareholders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations on financial strategy and corporate governance.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure and prepare accurate and timely financial reporting (and specifically in compliance with EU laws), adhering to IFRS, and local accounting standards while managing multi-entity consolidation across different jurisdictions.
Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency, cost control, and operational agility at a group level.
Banking & Investor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to optimize funding structures and financial partnerships.
Technology & Process Optimization: Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation of financial reporting, ERP implementation, and data-driven financial decision-making.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred, with a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong track record in holding companies, corporate finance, and multi-country financial operations.
Proven expertise in financial strategy, capital management, and international tax structures, particularly across the Middle East and CIS markets.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, balance sheet optimization, and strategic cost control at a corporate level.
Experience managing complex financial structures, consolidations, and cross-border regulatory compliance. M&A at a holding company or multinational corporate level.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive and Board levels.
Fluency in English and Russian; additional languages (Arabic, Turkish, or CIS region languages) are a plus.
