Green Sustainability Consultant

Job Description
Working in a team environment in delivering sustainable and low-energy designprojects in the built environment. The role requires an understanding of engineeringdesign, construction, commissioning and operation of buildings.
- Perform energy system analysis of projects design to verify compliance with the sustainability criteria
- Carry out energy modelling, daylight simulations, etc. in line with the local authority green codes and international green building certifications such as LEED.
- Conduct project sustainability assessments such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, Trakhees, Saafat and any other relevant green building systems, together with the team assigned for the project.
- Interact with clients, contractors, local authority representatives and other
- Assist the Sustainability Manager in preparing project green strategies, presentations.
- Attend project site meetings and conduct site visits during construction to inspect and monitor implementation of green building requirement.
- Perform green material submittal reviews.
- Prepare site inspection reports, progress reports.
- Conduct client meetings during project execution.
- Perform independent commissioning authority related activities on site
- Conduct thermography surveys, air tightness testing, building envelop commissioning inspections.
- Research and develop innovative ideas for adding value to EMS services and solutions
- Job may involve travel outside the UAE for green building project execution.
- Support the EMS team during proposal preparation.
