An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graphic Designer to join our Rixos The Palm team. To provide exceptional service & maintains the overall efficiency of standards set.What\'s in it for you:

• Respond to any questions, needs and desires of guests, and follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met to their satisfaction
• Respond to guests needs and anticipate their unstated ones
• Expect and react promptly to guests\' requirements and inquires
• Actively listen and resolve guests\' complaints
• Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures of special guests (VIPs)
• Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff
• Promote all amenities, conveniences and programs offered

:

• You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers along with efficient running of the department in line with Rixos\'s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• As a graphic designer you will also be responsible to assist the PR Manager and / or the Marketing Manager to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the hotel\'s marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximise the hotel\'s positive exposure in local, national and international markets.
• You must be a strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including a solid background in print, packaging, branding, typography and digital design and art directing photo shoots. Preferably both studio and location photography.
• Expertise in Creative suite software and industry standard programmes such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator for use in print and digital mediums
• Performs all duties & responsibilities in a timely & efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve position objectives.
• Handles incoming calls and ensures messages are taken and details are forwarded to the person concerned.
• Attends departmental & communication meeting as requested by Director of Sales.
• Attends major events in hotel & city as requested by Department Head.
• Ensures that Rixos Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Is involved on other tasks and cooperates in special projects when required.

Your experience and skills include:

• Relevant experience as Graphic Designer in hotels or similar
• Diploma/ BS degree in graphic designing or related field will be advantage
• Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation
