Job Purpose & Responsibilities

To meet university needs involving the visualization and creation of graphics--such as illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos--while shaping the visual elements of reports, magazines, branding materials, exhibitions, and more, it is essential to possess a creative flair and the ability to translate requirements into compelling designs effectively.


Minimum Qualification and Education


• Essential: Diploma or related courses with experience
• Desirable: Bachelor's degree in graphics design


Required Knowledge and Skills


• A strong portfolio showcasing illustrations or other graphics
• Ability to work systematically and meet deadlines
• Creative, adaptable to trends, and capable of conceptualizing original ideas
• Proficient in design software and technologies, including InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.
• Able to manage multiple briefs simultaneously
• A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with department members and other university personnel
• Skilled in photography to support design requirements


Work Experience

• Essential: Three years of experience in graphic designing work with organizations or advertising agencies.
• Desirable: Five years of graphic design work experience with organizations or advertising agencies.


Language proficiency required


• Essential: English
• Desirable: Bilingual (English and Arabic)
