bp has a long history of oil and gas exploration and production in the Middle East. It is a major investor in Oman and one of the world's pioneers in tight gas production, bringing technology and experience to develop one of the Middle East's largest unconventional gas resources - the Khazzan field in Block 61.

About the Program

Our 36-month graduate program provides exciting and challenging opportunities to develop professional skills for a successful career. You will be exposed to a range of business sectors, build skills via sophisticated interactions across various functions including operations and production.

Throughout your journey at bp, training courses and on the job training will help you to develop your technical and behavioral competencies, and you will be guided every step along the way by an experienced coach, mentor, and buddy.

Taking on the role of HSE&C Graduate means placing bp's health, safety, environmental, and sustainability priorities at the center of your work. Alongside a degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, process safety engineering, occupational safety, sustainability management, or a related subject, you should have a passion for problem-solving, systems thinking, and a care for people and the planet.

You are expected to demonstrate:

A passion to develop a career in the energy industry.

Proficient in English and Arabic communication and presentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Proven leadership in extra-curricular and/or social activities.

Due to the rotational nature of the program, you will need to be geographical mobile and willing to travel or relocate to any of our Oman offices or sites.

Program eligibility:

Bachelor and/or master's degree in biology/biological sciences, chemistry, environmental science, health, safety, security, environment, psychology, sociology, medicine, vet science/dentistry, physics, risk/compliance

Graduates of 2022, 2023 or 2024 academic years.

Minimum GPA of 2.8

Oman citizenship
