Job SummaryWood is currently looking for a Graduate Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE This is a Home Office position based in Dubai, Normal working time will be 45 hours per week.

• Reporting to the Lead Discipline Engineer, the candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned engineering tasks.
• To carry out process discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of oil & gas production facilities.
• To prepare process safery deliverables for a project in the oil and gas industry, and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures.
• To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• To promote safe behaviour at all times.
• To carry out tasks as directed by the Lead / Senior Discipline Engineers.
• To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
• To assist in the coordination of all activities related to process engineering design.

Skills / Qualifications

• MSc / BSc in Chemical Engineering.
• Familiar with the fundamentals of process safety engineering design and analysis.
• Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and self-reliant.
• Problem solver.
• Open analytic thinker and innovator.
• Good communicator with willingness to share knowledge andnsupport others.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
