As a Graduate Surveyor, you will be responsible for developing commercial agency business instructions, facilitating property transactions, fostering client relationships, and maximizing opportunities within the Knight Frank service line offering.Responsibilities
Understand the Knight Frank business and have a sound business knowledge within this market sector.
Obtain instructions within agreed guidelines to achieve agreed business targets.
Network and business generate.
Research accurately and present this information in writing to a professional standard.
Business development, setting goals and creating a strategy to achieve those goals.
Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the regional and global business.
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to promote properties to potential buyers or tenants.
Showcase properties through various mediums such as online listings, office tours, presentations, and networking events including overseeing the preparation of leasing particulars, videos and online collateral/listings.
Undertake the efficient administration of all procedures in carrying out business.
Manage your own workload and support the department head\'s workload.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
Draft and navigate around heads of terms without any oversight.
Navigate and advise on the commercial elements of a lease contract and have a sound understanding of the clauses which impact lease value.
Create a plan, advice on occupancy absorption and be able to formulate a clear leasing strategy (existing and future office developments) which may include repurposing existing space.
Report to landlords and provide regular updates.
Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
Communicate fully with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.
Perform other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Senior Leasing Executive and have a track record of completing lease renewals, new lettings and lease disposals with an existing client network of office occupiers, law firms, and accountancy and technology professional services.
Experience working with both tenant/occupiers and landlords.
Sound understanding of the office market, current rents, trends, and incentives.
Solid understanding of the local upcoming office supply, existing vacancies and tenants who have active requirements.
International experience is beneficial.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
Drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (KF Internal Systems).
Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
Certifications and Licenses: MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
Software: Microsoft Office programs to a proficient level.
Language skills: Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic or other languages advantageous.
Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
