It is a major investor in Oman and one of the world's pioneers in tight gas production, bringing technology and experience to develop one of the Middle East's largest unconventional gas resources - the Khazzan field in Block 61.

Geology is concerned with the application of geological principles and techniques to characterise the Subsurface, describe uncertainty ranges, manage risk, and use large amounts of technical data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with various disciplines across subsurface and beyond to support the development and production of the Khazzan field reservoirs. You will have opportunities to support our New Well Delivery organization in the planning and execution of wells. Key job accountabilities may include:

Delivering a well through planning stage gates.

Monitoring real time drilling activities and assessing against pre-drill prognosis within subsurface geomodels.

Gain field and operations experience at the wellsite.

Identify and communicate key overburden risks and uncertainties.

You will also have the opportunity to support our reservoir management activities. These job accountabilities may include:

Performing regional geology reviews to support the subsurface work program.

Understanding and communicating key structural, stratigraphic and depositional elements of the regional framework.

Participating in multi-disciplinary efforts to characterize and communicate subsurface field uncertainties.

Describing hydrocarbon in place volumes through the use of static models and fluid properties.

Integrating core, log and seismic data to characterize the reservoir.

Consulting with specialists and coordinating projects to advance the reservoir description.

Participating in well and reservoir performance reviews to feed acquired data back into our understanding of field performance to enable better reservoir management.

You are expected to demonstrate:

A passion to develop a career in the energy industry.

Proficient in English and Arabic communication and presentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

An ability to utilize multiple data sets to reach and integrated conclusion.

A proficiency with, or ability to learn to use, a digital toolset.

Proven leadership in extra-curricular and/or social activities.

Programme eligibility:

Bachelor and/or master's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a closely related discipline

Graduates of 2023, 2024 or 2025 academic years.

Minimum GPA of 2.8

Oman citizenship
