This opportunity is part of our exclusive 2024 Graduate Program, where you will work closely with experienced Engineers on exciting port and marine projects.Role OverviewAs a Graduate Engineer - Ports & Marine at AECOM, you will play a vital role in developing designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models according to specific discipline requirements. You will collaborate with experienced Engineers to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines.Key Responsibilities
Assisting with design content using design and technical knowledge to meet project objectives.
Performing work under supervision to meet budget and schedule requirements.
Collecting and analyzing information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
Utilizing computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
Coordinating with other discipline Engineers to maintain design continuity.
Participating in design progress and coordination meetings.
Ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, verifying accuracy to design instructions.
Actively seeking information and opportunities to contribute to project efficiencies and effectiveness.
Solving problems and applying knowledge to atypical assignments, contributing to project success.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in one or more of the following subjects from an accredited University
Structural engineering
Geotechnical engineering
Coastal engineering
Marine engineering
Ocean engineering
Applied physics
Naval architecture
Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM\'s Graduate Program.
Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
If you hold a Master\'s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor\'s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
