Join AECOM\'s 2024 Graduate Program!Role OverviewOur 2024 Graduate Program offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering team in the UAE. This role provides recent graduates with an electrical engineering background the chance to gain valuable experience at a distinguished multinational company and contribute to significant projects in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical power flow and distribution principles.Key Responsibilities

• Learn and use industry standard applications to carry lighting calculations and power distribution analysis for building engineering
• Ability to use and develop spreadsheets to solve technical issues or automate production procedures.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Coordinate design works with other disciplines under the guidance of an experienced engineer in a collaborative environment.
• Initiate and commit to a self-learning process utilizing AECOM University inhouse extensive eLearning resources.
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with courses taken in Building Electrical Engineering related subjects from an accredited University
• Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM\'s Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
