:
  • Physician will maintain an active Privilege per the specialty that is consistent with the scope of services and the required experiences to practice it, which is renewable every 2 years.
  • Examining the dental and oral health of patients of all ages and administering treatment accordingly.
  • Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.
  • Diagnosing, treating and providing appropriate preventative and restorative care for problems that affect their patients\' mouth and teeth, and as well as dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry.
  • Educating their patients regarding the best oral health habits.
A physician shall particularly observe the following:1) Comply with the rules, regulations and procedures of practicing the Profession, as per his/her grade and Specialty.
2) Maintain record of the patient including present/past/family history prior to diagnosing or treating the case.
3) Prescribe treatment and determine the quantity and usage in legible writing including the name, signature and date on the prescription; alert the patient or his family, as the case may be, to the importance of adhering to treatment instructions and to any significant and expected side-effects of the medical or surgical treatment.
4) Monitor complications of medical or surgical treatment and initiate remedial action where possible.
5) Co-operate with other physicians involved in the patient\'s treatment, provide information on patient\'s medical condition and the course of treatment whenever requested to do so, and consult with a specialist colleague if the case so requires.
6) Provide preventive and restorative treatments for problems that affect the mouth and teeth.
7) Educating Patients for oral health care.
8) Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedure.
9) Advise or instruct patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, or oral health care services.
10) Examining teeth and diagnosing patients\' dental conditions by using tools such as x-rays, or other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose disease or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments.
11) Diagnose and treat disease, injuries, or malformations of teeth, gums or related oral structures and provide preventive and corrective services.
12) Assessing treatment options and agreeing treatment plans with patients.
13) Carrying out agreed clinical treatments such as restoring teeth affected by decay and treating gum disease.
14) Stay updated on patient care, new technology and new products that can improve or treat patient conditions or improve overall health.
15) keeping abreast of new developments through structured continuing professional development (CPD)
16) Marketing Services to potential clients.
17) Recommend both prescription and non-prescription products, such as toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. for optimal care of patients\' mouth and teeth.
18) Keep all certifications, registrations and insurance current and in accordance with national laws and regulations
19) Maintain sanitary environment for patient care and examination.Responsibilities:

  • Education:
A completion of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery), DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) or equivalent
  • License:
The physician will maintain at all times an active license in home country and an active HAAD License consistent with specialty practiced at Bareen International Hospital.
  • Experience:
More than 3 years\' experience post qualification.
