Job Summary :
The Govt. Relations or DLD Affairs Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to the Dubai Land Department (DLD). This includes project registration, unit cancellations, and drafting all necessary letters for DLD. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with DLD department heads to secure special approvals when necessary. The role involves supervising and executing TAS operations, project registration, periodic project inspections, escrow account inflows and outflows, managing main and subcontractor issues, account closing, profit withdrawals, customer refunds, and service trustee and registration trustee related operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and oversee project registrations with DLD.
Handle unit cancellations and ensure all documentation is accurately prepared and submitted.
Draft, review, and submit all necessary correspondence and documentation to DLD.
Maintain strong relationships with DLD department heads and officials.
Facilitate and secure special approvals from DLD as required.
Supervise and execute TAS operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Oversee periodic project inspections and ensure all projects meet regulatory standards.
Monitor escrow account inflows and outflows.
Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions in accordance with DLD regulations.
Address and resolve issues related to main contractors and subcontractors.
Manage account closing processes, profit withdrawals, and customer refunds.
Supervise and execute service trustee and registration trustee related operations.
Ensure all trustee operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate project management, preferably with experience dealing with DLD.
Strong knowledge of DLD regulations, processes, and requirements.
Established network and relationships with DLD officials and department heads.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Competencies :

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with DLD officials, contractors, and internal teams.
