Working for a highly ranked university, the Governance & Organization Excellence Senior Specialist is responsible for enhancing the governance structures, processes, and organizational excellence within the institutional research function.Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager to establish and refine the governance framework for institutional research, defining roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures.
Ensure alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements. Implement policies and procedures governing institutional research activities.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices. Implement quality assurance processes for methodologies, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Facilitate collaboration and communication between institutional research and other departments, academic units, and administrative offices.
Engage with key stakeholders to understand their information needs and ensure to remain aligned with institutional priorities.
Implement data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of research data.
Collaborate with IT and data management teams to establish data quality standards.
Generate regular reports to assess the impact and effectiveness of research initiatives.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance processes and streamline data management.
Ensure the integration of technology aligns with organizational goals.
Ensure adherence to the University's information security policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
Ensure coordination with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics or IT.
Relevant experience within a university setting
