Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented operator to manage and operate our DE-embossing and gold foiling machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality rigid boxes for packaging. You will be responsible for running and maintaining the equipment, ensuring smooth operation, and ensuring that the final product meets our clients' specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Operate and manage DE-embossing and gold foiling machines for rigid box production.

Set up and calibrate the equipment for different embossing and foiling designs.

Ensure the machines are running efficiently and produce quality results.

Quality Control:

Monitor the production process to ensure the embossing and foiling are precise and meet quality standards.

Inspect finished products for defects and quality consistency.

Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain high-quality output.

Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machines.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Report major technical problems to the maintenance team for repairs.

Material Handling:

Ensure the correct materials (foils, paper, etc.) are used for each job.

Properly load and unload materials and ensure they are correctly aligned for optimal results.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the production team, designers, and supervisors to understand job requirements.

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and chemicals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in operating DE-embossing and/or gold foiling machines, preferably in a printing press or packaging industry.

Skills:

Proficient in machine setup and operation.

Knowledge of rigid box production processes.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various embossing, foiling, and printing techniques.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training is a plus).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and handle heavy materials as needed.
