Job Overview:
We are seeking talented and experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Golang to join our dynamic team. The Backend Developer (Golang) will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic and APIs for our web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development, proficiency in Golang, and a passion for building scalable and efficient systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain server-side logic using Golang for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end elements with Golang-based server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain high-quality and scalable RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly into our applications.
• Design and optimize databases for efficiency and reliability.
• Write efficient database queries and ensure data integrity.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures within the backend systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code in Golang.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal application performance.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend systems, APIs, and Golang code.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and reflects any changes or improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues related to Golang-based applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex problems and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on Golang development.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Expertise in Golang programming language.
• Minimum 3 years hands experience with Golang.
• Strong understanding of database systems, both relational and NoSQL.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and management.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Knowledge of API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
