The General Manager in the Contract Manufacturing industry oversees the operations, production, and overall performance of the manufacturing facilities. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of production quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and managers.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
• Financial Management:
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth and profitability improvement.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
• Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
• Oversee supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior management role within the contract manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
