:JOB PURPOSEThe Vice President of Sales for Contract Logistics plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share on a global scale. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales within the logistics industry. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract logistics services, a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Formulate and implement an extensive sales strategy and framework aimed at bolstering revenue growth and attaining sales objectives for contract logistics services on a global scale, with a specific emphasis on expanding contract logistics presence in underrepresented regions.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the sales team and verticals account management to drive contract logistics sales, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Build and maintain and accurate and dynamic new business opportunity pipeline for Contract Logistics to deliver predictable results and hold the Sales teams accountable to growth targets.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and strategic relationship-building with potential clients.
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor to understand their evolving needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities and market trends, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of services.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the contract logistics industry.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, tools, and methodologies, optimising efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our brand, expand our network, and build credibility and thought leadership within the logistics sector
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while upholding high standards of ethical conduct and professionalism.
Accountable for leading an engaged team, providing direction and promoting collaboration while ensuring they are enabled to carry out the goals and objectives of the business.
Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours harmoniously with DP World\'s values and culture.
Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities.

Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the logistics industry.
