With experience in both harsh-environment regions and complex drilling situations, you can trust Parker Wellbore to get the job done.The Global Technical Trainer - Well Construction Tubular Running Services (TRS) is responsible for coordinating, validating and conducting technical training to Parker Wellbore employees in the Eastern Hemisphere. The Technical Trainer will assist the locations with creating and managing training schedules and maintaining accurate training records. This position will also support the local trainers by providing Train the Trainer sessions and evaluating specific competencies required for the job.In addition, the position will support the planning, directing and development of all training and competency material and content to support the needs of the Well Construction and Intervention product lines. This position will work collaboratively with the Global Parker Wellbore Training organization and will assess product line development needs that support the training initiatives and identify suitable training solutions for the product line organization.Essential functions
Trains technicians to deliver training modules to employees and direct-supervised contractors/contingent workers. This role travels to operational locations internationally.
Advises regions/projects/locations on training requirements based on scope, customer, client, regulatory, or location needs.
Competency verification from a technical perspective.
Helps regions and functions coordinate, plan, and forecast training. This includes the logistical management of training facilities and materials required for effective delivery of training.
Contributes to training material content and management. Adapts learning tools and techniques accordingly to various audience groups, depending on their unique locations, roles, or relationship to company and operations.
Ensures records and evidence related to delivery of training are documented properly.
Provides feedback and contributes to the continual improvement of training program & materials, based on evaluation of training effectiveness.
Maintains any certifications that are required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 10 years of experience with Tubular Running Services in the field and service quality management
At least 10 years of experience with Casing Running Tools, Connection Integrity and Evaluation and general knowledge of casing and completion running services associated with Well Construction applications
Demonstrated ability to understand Well Construction and Intervention applications in MPD, Cementing Hardware, Casing Exit, Fishing & Re-Entry and other identified applications
Completion of train-the-trainer, adult learning techniques. Educational certifications preferred
Understands and can apply various methods of training and education appropriate to subject matter and audience including remote learning
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with demonstrated ability to navigate relevant Learning Management Systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in-person and via remote communication platforms.
Ability to travel 50% Domestically and Globally
