:
As a World Social Studies Teacher at Diyar Schools, you will play a vital role in inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for world history, cultures, geography, and global issues among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, facilitating hands-on activities, and nurturing inquiry skills in global social studies topics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality of Learning : Plan and execute dynamic World Social Studies lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and global awareness. Utilize assessment data to tailor instruction and monitor student progress.
• Conditions for Learning : Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and question global historical and social concepts. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall World Social Studies curriculum.
• Developing Learning : Provide constructive feedback to students and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Foster a growth mindset and celebrate discoveries and achievements in the social studies field.
• Evaluating Learning : Implement various assessment methods to evaluate student understanding and mastery of world historical and social concepts. Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and support student growth.
• Professional Development : Stay current with advancements in World Social Studies education and instructional best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and resources.

Qualifications:
• MOE Approval
• Degree in Social Studies/History/Geography or related field, with relevant Postgraduate qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of world history, geography, and global social issues , and inquiry-based learning
• Proven ability to engage and inspire students in the study of World Social Studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
