Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Global Tax Function Lead to spearhead our engagement in growth and strategic projects. This pivotal role involves managing Zakat and Tax optimization, ensuring compliance, and leading tax planning for strategic initiatives in line with our company\'s policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the Global Tax Function\'s involvement in strategic growth, M&A projects, and joint ventures.
Optimization and Planning: Drive tax optimization for the company\'s strategic decisions, working closely with the M&A and Growth Projects team.
Tax Planning Framework: Contribute to the development of the Global Zakat & Tax Planning Framework, including policy creation, governance model, and standard processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including Aramco, government bodies, NGOs, and external advisors, to secure tax incentives and optimize deal structures.
Project Management: Oversee project risks, opportunities, and deliverables, ensuring optimized business decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Lead regional and global tax teams and external advisors to deliver optimized structures for deals and growth investments.
Requirements:
This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Education & Certification: Bachelor\'s degree in Law, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications like CPA, ACCA, or Tax Practitioner\'s Certificate are preferred.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in international tax and M&A, with KSA Zakat experience being advantageous.
Expertise: Extensive experience in the tax function of large multinationals or Big 4 firms. Expert knowledge in global tax planning and proficiency in tax optimization and risk management.
