As a testament to its excellence and influence, the firm actively fosters strategic global partnerships, continuously setting benchmarks in quality and industry standards.Job SummaryThe role operates as a Global Engineering expert as part of the Rotating Equipment team within the Asset Technology Centre with the purpose to drive the Asset Integrity Vision for fostering continuous improvement in Reducing operational risks, Increasing revenue and optimizing cost across all Manufacturing sites globally. Provide technical leadership on rotating equipment which are specific to polymer plants and thier associated systems which may typically include agitators, mixers, slurry handling pumps and seal systems, rotary pressure/vacuum filters, vacuum pumps, rotary dryers, centrifuges, rotary valves, screw conveyors, extruders, pelletizers, blenders/ compounders, conveying compressors, packaging systems and giving technical support & leading recommendations to affiliates & projects. Undertake studies pertaining to above stated asset types that encompass reliability risk assessment, asset strategy, operation, corrective maintenance and failure analysis. Induct new technology, specialist level inputs to uprates and minor projects, monitoring and reporting of every affiliates\' equipment performance, identification of gaps in maintenance systems and practices through metrics and audits. Lead development and standardization of best engineering practices and communication of learning from incidents. Drive reliability management for the polymer plant equipment
Define and monitor KPIs for the asset group
Determine gaps and develop strategies for safety, reliability, and availability
Identify and develop This Company Manufacturing Standards and engineering Best Practices (BP) for Polymer Plant Equipment
Ensure timely review of This Company Engineering Standards
Monitor the market for innovative solutions
Engage with OEMs to address design issues and technological improvements
Strategy and Planning
Develop and manage annual and five-year work plans for rotating equipment
Conduct Performance Killer analysis and generate Resolution Plans (PKRP)
Technical Support and Engagement
Provide technical support to resolve chronic failures/issues globally
Liaise with various departments for equipment strategies and technical solutions
Collaborate with asset technology development and global suppliers
Support 2025 strategies through a pool of rotating equipment experts
Participate in audits, assessments, and failure analysis
Provide expert knowledge on safety and reliability programs
Support site/mega projects through engineering reviews
Knowledge and Network Management
Communicate critical business cases through Technical Alerts (TA) and High Value Learning from Incidents (HVLI)
Participate in rotating equipment technical networks, forums, and conferences
Manage the Polymer Plant Equipment Expert Group for knowledge sharing
Competency Development, Mentoring and Coaching
Deliver specialized training to This Company manufacturing engineers
Develop and retain top-quality rotating equipment expertise through mentoring and coaching
Requirements:
This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
Bachelor Degree of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
Manufacturing Experience (Technical engineering, Maintenance Management, Reliability and Project Management).
At least 15 years of engineering experience in asset reliability and maintenance.
Recognized technical/engineering expert on design, maintenance and operation of rotating equipment specific to polymer and petrochemical plants as demonstrated by significant accomplishments and contributions acquired over a period of 15 or more years.
Experience related to Design/Engineering or of Service/Technical support group with a major pump OEM is preferred.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of general principles and theories related to engineering and contributes significantly to the solution of a variety of unique and complex engineering problems.
Experience of people management and ability to use influence to achieve results.
Flexible and able to re-prioritize tasks based on changing business needs.
Desire and ability to self-teach new software programs or systems.
Excellent communication skills both interpersonal skills and presentation skills to all levels including executive management.
Above average proficiency in English language (written and spoken).
Proficient in MS Office\xc2\xae applications (with advanced knowledge of MS Excel\xc2\xae).
Experience within the Gulf States would be advantageous.
