The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryAs a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the hands-on diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of various types of rotating equipment, contributing significantly to our cutting-edge energy company\'s operations.Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including dismantling, diagnosing, assembling, testing, and issuing related technical reports.
Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment, while identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs to identify root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
Introduce and apply the latest technology in repair methodology.
Develop and revise the department\'s technical procedures and standards.
Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), other company departments, and manufacturers.
Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, vendors, and manufacturers for shop repair work scopes.
Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
Requirements:
This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in the mechanical field, particularly with rotating equipment.
Proven experience in mechanical design, troubleshooting, and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment such as gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, and gearboxes.
Experience in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility for steam turbines, gas compressors, and diesel engines.
