The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryThe role supports the development and execution of transactions by providing comprehensive financial analysis activities including building and utilizing complex financial valuation models, managing valuation inputs from multiple internal and external sources, developing financial statements, risk and uncertainty analysis, and presentation of expert and objective analysis to senior management to support decision-making in respect of transactions. The role contributes to the continuous improvement of relevant processes and methodologies to become a center of excellence for valuation for the Company. A key aspect of the role is to develop, mentor and coach other team members in areas of expertise. The position also interacts with external financial advisors and consultants for transactions. The individual is expected to develop relationships with financial institutions and to bring external perspectives on the M&A landscape to the Company. The role also provides ad hoc financial analysis activities including on transfer pricing, impairment reviews, Shareek incentives, and group policy reviews.Responsibilities:
Have expert experience in building and using transaction valuation tools and financial statements, providing objective valuation advice to management.
Serve all business lines and Company organizations, including wholly-owned subsidiaries and Joint Ventures, regardless of geographic location.
Deal with transactions estimated to have a total value of over $130 billion from 2021 to 2023, including equity, partner investments, project financing in joint ventures, and M&A acquisitions and divestments.
Provide expert and objective advice to senior management regarding M&A valuations for specific transactions.
Support the development and execution of M&A transactions by conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including the creation and utilization of complex financial models, risk analysis, and uncertainty analysis.
Develop, coach, and mentor team members in areas of expertise.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of relevant processes and methodologies to establish a center of excellence for valuation within the Company.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis activities, including transfer pricing, impairment reviews, Shareek incentives, and group policy reviews.
Manage Financial Advisors for valuation activities on transactions and establish relationships with banks to gather external perspectives on the M&A landscape for the Company.
Support the FIM (Financial Investment Management)-led mandating of Financial Advisors, including the development of Request for Proposals (RFPs), selection criteria, and evaluation of proposals.
