LEDFlex is a manufacturer of LED luminaires, established for more than 10 years and is looking for an experienced Financial Controller. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LED Flex we continue to lead the way in terms of performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior lighting products. The ideal applicant will have a demonstrated background in finance and accounting. Ideally you will be located in Dubai Investment Park 2, UAE.

As the Financial Controller you will have at least 5 years of experience in a professional accounting or auditing role also previous experience in a managerial accounting position would be advantageous. A background in supporting a multinational business, corporate financial management and being able to show experience in leading financial teams and overseeing the company's financial control and reporting activities. Knowledge of change best practices and experience in working with relevant financial and accounting software packages is essential.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly financial reports, performing account reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger including audit trail support for all journal entries, ensuring that an organisation meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements.
• Preparation and analytical review of financial data and generate monthly trend reports and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring financial statement accuracy and investigating variances.
• Intercompany transfers.
• Assisting with annual reviews/audit preparation, collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company's ledger.
• Complete all VAT & Corporate filings and returns.
• Complete all HMRC filings and returns.
• Ease financial transparency across the business globally ensuring International Financial Reporting Standards are adhered to.
• Supporting the sales team with customer tender completions.
• Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing.
• Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives.
• Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
• Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices.
• Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages.
• A strong understanding of tax codes and laws.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze financial reports.
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
