Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GL Accountant to manage and oversee general ledger activities for our automotive business. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and support the company's overall financial operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are posting.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Can Manage Accounting transaction and journal entries.
• Document Management: Scan, record, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Payment Tracking: Keep track of payments and deadlines to ensure timely processing.
• Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks related to accounting, including filing documents, answering accounting-related queries, and preparing correspondence
• Become familiar with and follow internal guidelines for the position
• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts

Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience as a GL Accountant, preferably in the automotive industry.
Bachelor degree or any diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
