News and information are available at or follow us on LinkedIn.Role and Responsibilities:As a GIS Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and updating both geographic and engineering drawings to support various stages of construction projects. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will play a vital role in producing accurate and detailed drawings that inform decision-making processes and facilitate project implementation. Your primary duties will include:1. Drafting and Design:- Create detailed GIS maps and CAD drawings based on project specifications, survey data, and other relevant information.- Develop site plans, layouts, profiles, and other technical drawings to support construction activities and project documentation.2. Data Integration:- Integrate GIS and CAD data to produce comprehensive drawings that incorporate geographic information with engineering design elements.- Ensure data accuracy and consistency between GIS and CAD systems to support seamless project workflows.3. Project Coordination:- Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into GIS and CAD drawings as needed.- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and ensure alignment between drawings and project plans.4. Quality Assurance:- Review GIS and CAD drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and project requirements.- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in drawings to maintain data integrity and support construction activities.5.
