: The Geo-information Analyst will provide GIS and CAD support to BGD customers. The Analysts role is typically focused on at least two of: \xef\x82\xb7 Web Mapping \xef\x82\xb7 GIS \xef\x82\xb7 Cartography \xef\x82\xb7 CAD Support Services will be provided in line with the BGD Geo-Information Strategy. Whilst the formal reporting line is to the Geomatics Manager, day to day coordination of Analyst is delegated to the Senior Geo-information Consultant. General Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Provision of front -desk services to BGD customers \xef\x82\xb7 Production of accurate cartography and mapping using ESRI ArcGIS \xef\x82\xb7 Support and development of Web Map solutions using ESRI ArcGIS Server \xef\x82\xb7 Technical and programming support to the Geo-information Management team \xef\x82\xb7 Support use of standard data models particularly APDM (ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model), within the BGD ArcGIS environment \xef\x82\xb7 Processing, manipulation and conversion of CAD data relating to as-built surveys of pipelines and facilities \xef\x82\xb7 Participation in team meetings \xef\x82\xb7 Schedule own work to meet multi-customer needs \xef\x82\xb7 Promote use of Geo-Information and spatial analysis techniques within project teams. \xef\x82\xb7 Resolve labour intensive working practices and implement technology-based solutions Accountabilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Informal guidance to peers \xef\x82\xb7 Understand and promote all relevant Geomatics Services to Project TeamsSafety Responsibility: \xef\x82\xb7 Good understanding of BGD and UAE safety legislation, particularly as relevant to preparation of mapping or geo-information used in support of operations. \xef\x82\xb7 Awareness of legal and operational aspects of mapping / survey data acquisition and supply particularly in relation to land based logistics or oil spill response / emergency operations Main Interfaces: BGD - All departments FEED Contractor ADNOC Group Companies
