Job Description
As a Geriatric Medicine Doctor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our elderly patients. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions specifically related to aging, as well as managing chronic illnesses and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve overall patient care.Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and comprehensive geriatric assessments on patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor their progress
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical interventions
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of geriatric medicine
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
- Valid state medical license
- Board certification in Geriatric Medicine
- Proven experience and knowledge in geriatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
